Agreement to Terms

By scheduling services with Brightview Window Cleaners or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

Brightview Window Cleaners provides professional window cleaning services including:

  • Residential and commercial window cleaning (interior and exterior)
  • Screen cleaning and maintenance
  • Frame and sill cleaning
  • Pressure washing services
  • Post-construction cleanup

Services are provided in San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, and surrounding areas within our designated service zones.

Scheduling and Appointments

Booking Services

  • All appointments must be scheduled in advance
  • Service estimates are provided free of charge
  • Scheduling is subject to availability and weather conditions

Cancellation Policy

  • Customer Cancellations: Must provide at least 24 hours notice to avoid cancellation fees
  • Weather Cancellations: Services may be postponed due to unsafe weather conditions (rain, high winds, etc.) at our discretion
  • Rescheduling: We will work with you to reschedule cancelled appointments as soon as possible

Pricing and Payment

Service Rates

  • All prices are quoted in advance and confirmed before work begins
  • Prices may vary based on window size, accessibility, condition, and special requirements
  • Additional services (screens, pressure washing) are priced separately

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements are made
  • We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
  • Returned checks are subject to a $35 processing fee
  • Outstanding balances over 30 days may incur late fees

Property Access and Safety

Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to all areas requiring cleaning
  • Remove or secure valuable items, decorations, and fragile objects near work areas
  • Ensure pets are secured during service visits
  • Notify us of any safety hazards, special access requirements, or building restrictions
  • Provide accurate contact information and gate codes/access instructions

Our Responsibilities

  • Arrive within scheduled time windows when possible
  • Use appropriate safety equipment and professional-grade tools
  • Respect your property and maintain clean work practices
  • Carry appropriate liability insurance

Liability and Limitations

Insurance Coverage

Brightview Window Cleaners maintains general liability insurance. Proof of insurance available upon request.

Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the specific service provided
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to windows, screens, or property
  • Customer must report any damage claims within 48 hours of service completion
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Customer Acknowledgments

  • Customer acknowledges that some windows may have pre-existing damage not visible until cleaned
  • Window seals and weatherstripping deterioration is normal wear and not our responsibility
  • We cannot guarantee removal of permanent stains, mineral deposits, or paint overspray

Service Quality and Satisfaction

Quality Guarantee

  • We stand behind our work and will address legitimate quality concerns
  • Service issues must be reported within 48 hours of completion
  • Re-cleaning will be provided at no charge for verified quality issues

Service Limitations

  • We cannot clean damaged, cracked, or unsafe windows
  • Some stains and deposits may be permanent and not removable
  • Service may be limited by weather, safety concerns, or property access issues

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Brightview Window Cleaners and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms & Conditions. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Indemnification

Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Brightview Window Cleaners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Customer’s failure to provide accurate information or proper access
  • Damage caused by customer’s pets or negligence
  • Violations of these Terms & Conditions

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, government regulations, or other acts of God.

Governing Law and Disputes

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation
  • If resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be subject to binding arbitration
  • Customer waives the right to participate in class action lawsuits

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Brightview Window Cleaners regarding our services.
